Wuque Studio have teamed up with Haimu to bring you the WS Switch series with something to suit most preferences without breaking the bank.
Highlights:
Switches are sold in packs of 10.
Quantity 1 = 10 switches.
Sound Tests:
Bit scratchy to begin with but they’re now being broken into and have changed a fair bit since putting them in, with my board it helps create a nice deep thock.
Since these switches use cut legs for dampening the sound, the bottom out has more give compared to standard silicone dampeners. They're less noticeable than other slient linear switches I've used. You can use them stock as they come pre-lubricated.
Nice smooth prelubed linears, and look pretty too! Came from light tactiles and wanted to join the linear gang. This was the first linear switch Ive enjoyed, not too light (I've used gateron pro yellow and silvers, akko starfishes, banana splits, ktt roses, strawberries and Kang whites) as I'm a heavier typist. Plus it's on the cheaper side which is a bonus. Would recommend.
Whilst these are my first ever switches (first time build), I have found them to be excellent out of the box. I needed something transparent, linear and a deep sound. These switches delivered. Thanks Keebz&Cables for delivering another great product.
The Haimu-style silent switches are known for their great noise performance. However, it still comes at the cost of feeling like your are typing on rubber landing pads. Although it uses plastic dampeners it still gives me the impression of a "regular" silent switch with silicone dampeners.
Good, but nothing to hype as a new kind of reference, imo.
