Outva x Nuphy Gateron Azure Dragon V4 Tactile Switches

The year was 2021... if you weren't making Holy Pandas, GazzewBob Boba U4/U4T reigned supreme as the tactile king that no other tactiles came close to. That's until Outva and Gateron released Azure Dragon V1 and in my opinion was way better than the Boba U4/U4T. I made it a mission of mine to stock them, here we are now in 2025 and stocking our 4th version of the Azure Dragon V4.
So what's changed 4 versions later?
- New Gateron moulds that doesn't take god's will to remove from hotswap boards
- Still clacky but definitely not as loud and clacky as V1
Switch Tasting Notes:
- Feel: Top bump with no pre-travel that goes straight into another slight tactile event at the bottom out. Rounded bump, but I am finding it hard to describe what this tactility event feels like the top bump seems to transfer into another tactile event at bottom out which comes real quick due to the 3mm travel. It's interesting.... I like it.
- Sound: Clacky but more at a medium volume compared to Akko x HMX Cilantros which are offensively loud. It's also a different clacky sound signature compared to the usual HMX clack.
