I tried the Sonja switches on my Neo65 Core Plus and overall I really like them. They feel super smooth in use, with a nostalgic, vintage-like character that sets them apart from many modern switches. The bottom-out is slightly textured — a bit scratchy in a way that adds personality rather than detracting from the experience. What really stood out to me was the sound and feel. These switches have a unique sound profile that gives the keyboard its own character
While there is nothing wrong with the switches I find the concept a bit odd. If you wanted “scratch” or a “classic” feeling switch just use a Cherry switch. Other than that they are okay switches and to my ears pair well with metal plates. Switches are perfectly usable out the bag.
