    FAQs

A keyboard coiled cable is mainly an aesthetic choice, but it also helps manage excess length on your desk. The coil keeps things tidy while allowing flexibility in placement. If you prefer a minimal look, a straight cable works just as well.

No. A properly built mechanical keyboard coiled cable will not create noticeable input lag. For standard boards, including those with lighting, power delivery remains stable. Build quality matters more than the coil itself.

In most cases, yes. Our keyboard cables use USB-A to USB-C, which suits most modern mechanical keyboards. For heavy RGB setups, connect to a powered USB port for best results. However, for keyboards where the PCB draws excess power for the RGB lighting effects, you may see a drop in RGB brightness. This is the one case where we recommend using a fast-charging USB cable over our keyboard cables.
