After 3 years, we have finally got around to designing a new innovative switch!
Built around HMX's latest tooling and dual-material housing process, the QQ x HMX PEI Switch was developed to unlock the sound profile QQ has always been envisioning. The dual-material housing, a nylon body with a PEI core, is one of the first uses of HMX's newly developed dual-material process, producing the switch's distinctively crisp, lively top-out and bottom-out with a clean, consistent acoustic signature across the all keyboards.
The PEI top housing sits on a new mold that took months to get right, since PEI is notoriously hard to injection mold. Paired with a nylon bottom housing, the switch strikes a balance between clarity and fullness, crisp but controlled, with the smooth, consistent feel HMX is known for, thanks to their factory lubing.
Switches are sold in packs of 10.
